Burt Brothers in Layton, UT is seeking a Tire Technician to join our results-focused team. You’ll mount, dismount, balance, rotate tires and perform basic maintenance with speed and accuracy to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate with overtime and potential commissions, plus paid holidays, health coverage options, a 401(k) with company match, and opportunities to advance into light mechanical services as you grow.

Formación

• Tire/lube or automotive service experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first attitude.
• Detail-oriented, safety-minded, and eager to grow.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physically able to lift 70 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires.
• Repair flats and inflate to spec.
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues.
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety.
• Collaborate with team to deliver fast, accurate service.
• Opportunity to progress into light mechanical services as skills grow.

Tire Technicians:

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires
• Repair flats and inflate to spec
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors
• Perform oil changes and replace filters
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues
• Test and install batteries
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards
• Work with your team to deliver fast, accurate, elite service
• Opportunity to progress into light mechanical services (brakes, suspension, alignments) as skills and experience allow
