Job summary

Gills Point S Tire & Auto is seeking a Service Technician to keep customers safe on the road by performing tire services, inspections, and basic automotive maintenance. Training and support are provided, regardless of prior experience.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop with opportunities for growth. We offer competitive pay, full-time hours, and benefits after a short waiting period.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Automotive or tire experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in an active shop environment.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Team player who enjoys helping customers.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
• Inspect vehicles for tire wear, damage, and basic maintenance concerns.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and service needs.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds, and safely operating shop equipment while working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to perform work both inside the shop and outdoors in varying weather conditions while following all company safety policies.
