Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Tire Technician to join our fast-paced store team. You’ll interact with customers and drivers, perform tire removals, replacements, and basic shop duties, with safety and customer satisfaction as top priorities. No experience?

No problem — we train. The role offers flexible scheduling, PTO, medical/dental/vision after 30 days, a 401(k) with 100% match up to 5%, tuition assistance, and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• No experience required; we will train.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of tire sale, removal, and replacement for tires on trucks and in shop.
• Perform equipment repair and store facility maintenance including housekeeping.
• Move, lift heavy items (75+ lbs) in close quarters; follow safety policies.
• Ensure customer safety and satisfaction; follow company procedures.
• Work a rotating day/night schedule as needed.
• Possess ability to obtain a medical card through DOT (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions:

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.


• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.


• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.


• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.


• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.


• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
