Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring Tire Technicians to join our team in Virginia. No prior experience is required, as on-the-job training will be provided. You will interact with customers and drivers, handle tire sales and service for commercial vehicles, and maintain a clean, safe shop environment.

You must be able to lift 75+ pounds and work in varying temperatures. A DOT medical card may be obtained with employer support, and benefits include training and growth opportunities within a fast-paced,

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Maintain store facility and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Move and lift up to 75+ pounds; work in varying temperatures.
• Follow safety policies and procedures to protect customers and coworkers.
• Work a rotating schedule that may include day and night shifts.
• Possess ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
