Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Kenly, NC is hiring Tire Technicians to service tires for commercial vehicles and roadside calls. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and friendly customer service as part of a fast-paced team.

No prior experience is required; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided. Successful candidates will be able to lift 75+ pounds, work rotating day/night shifts, and participate in a company-wide tuition and career development program.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires on commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Maintain store facility and perform general housekeeping duties; assist with equipment repair as needed.
• Move, lift, and handle tires and equipment up to 75+ pounds; work in varying temperatures and conditions.
• Uphold company safety policies and ensure customer safety and satisfaction at all times.
• Work a rotating schedule that includes day and night shifts as needed.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

Job Functions

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds working in close quarters. Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of your customers first, complying with company safety policies & procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation. (paid by Love’s)
