Job summary

Best One Fleet Service is seeking a Tire Technician to inspect, repair, balance, and rotate tires on customer vehicles while delivering excellent customer service. You will mount/dismount tires, check air pressure and TPMS, and perform related tasks in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, physical stamina, and the ability to work safely and efficiently with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess tire condition and wear.
• Mount/dismount and install tires.
• Balance or rotate tires.
• Inspect tire tread, valves, and air pressure.
• Complete brake inspections.
• Complete work orders and related paperwork.
• Load/unload and store equipment as needed.
• Maintain, set up tire racks and clean shop and equipment.
• Assist customers and co-workers as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Description

Tire Technicians are required to inspect and assess damaged or worn tires on customer vehicles, replace or repair damaged tires, and balance or rotate tires. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks while providing great customer service.

Duties Include:

• Understand and show empathy towards customer’s tire issues.
• Mount/dismount, install new or used tires.
• Inspect and assess tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality and overall health of the tire.
• Check air pressure, repair punctures and replace faulty valves.
• Operate balancer and complete wheel alignments.
• Complete tire rotations; reset TPMS when needed.
• Complete brake inspections.
• Complete work orders and related paperwork.
• Load/unload and store equipment as needed.
• Maintain, set up tire racks, organize, and clean shop and equipment.
• Assist customers and other co-workers as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Commitment to service beyond the expectations of our customers.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

• Lifting: Frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high.
• Occasional squatting, bending, and twisting.
• Standing for extended periods of time.
