Job summary

Gateway Tire in Flowood, MS is seeking a Tire Technician to join a fast, safety‑minded team. You will mount, dismount, balance tires, repair flats, test TPMS, and perform oil changes while documenting issues and working closely with the crew.

We offer an hourly wage with overtime and commission, plus benefits including paid vacation, medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) with company match, ASE reimbursement, and opportunities to advance into mechanics, service advisor, or management roles.

Qualifications

• Tire/lube or automotive service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physically able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires
• Repair flats and inflate to spec
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors
• Perform oil changes and replace filters
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues
• Test and install batteries
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards
• Work with your team to deliver fast, accurate, elite service
• Opportunity to progress into light mechanical services (brakes, suspension, alignments) as skills and experience allow
