Job summary

Best-One Tire & Service in Monroe is seeking a reliable Tire Technician to provide friendly, professional customer service while performing tire-related tasks. Expect $17/hr with benefits and weekend availability.

Responsibilities include mounting/dismounting tires, inspecting tread, TPMS, and completing service paperwork in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• 18 years of age.
• Ability to consistently follow store policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and complete instructions.
• Position requires continuous standing, bending, lifting and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.
• Team-Player: Works well as a member of a group.
• Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.

Responsibilities

• Understand and show empathy towards customer’s tire issues.
• Mount/dismount, install new or used tires.
• Inspect and assess tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality and overall health of the tire.
• Check air pressure, repair punctures and replace faulty valves.
• Complete tire rotations; reset TPMS when needed.
• Complete brake inspections.
• Complete work orders and related paperwork.
• Load/unload and store equipment as needed.
• Maintain, set up tire racks, organize, and clean shop and equipment.
• Assist customers and other co-workers as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
