Job summary

Gills Point S is hiring a Service Technician to help keep customers safe on the road by performing tire services, inspections, and basic automotive maintenance. We provide training to help you build your career in a stable, full-time role within a team-focused shop.

You’ll mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires, inspect vehicles, assist customers with recommendations, and perform basic services and safety inspections in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Automotive or tire experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in an active shop environment.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Team player who enjoys helping customers.
• Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds, and operating shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires
• Inspect vehicles for tire wear, damage, and basic maintenance concerns
• Assist customers with tire recommendations and service needs
• Perform basic vehicle services and safety inspections
• Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently
• Help maintain inventory, shop cleanliness, and organization
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
