Pomp's Tire Service in Auburn, WA is seeking a Tire Service Operations Manager to oversee the location, drive profitability, and lead daily operations with integrity and urgency. You will manage inventory, staff, and safety, while ensuring compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements.

The role focuses on pricing, financial reporting, and maintaining high service standards. Ideal candidates will bring 2+ years of management in tire sales/services, a HS diploma, and willingness to obtain TIA/Bandag

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• 5 years of tire sales and services preferred; willingness to obtain TIA/Bandag cert.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stock orders, inventory, and compliance with policies and laws.
• Supervise staff, hire, onboarding, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Collaborate with manufacturers' reps for product information and tool maintenance.
• Set sales goals based on budgets; manage pricing per policy and competition; report financials.
• Conduct inventory reconciliations and analyze store performance.
• Lead by example to maintain performance standards and staff records.
• Oversee payroll, safety programs, and adherence to OSHA/DOT rules.
• Perform other duties as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Manage stock orders, inventory levels, and place orders while ensuring store compliance with company policies and laws
• Supervise team members to follow procedures, promptly report and investigate incidents, and assist with sales calls and visits
• Collaborate with manufacturers' reps for product information and ensure maintenance of tools and equipment
• Set sales goals based on store budgets, manage pricing in line with company policies and competitors, and report financial data to Corporate
• Conduct inventory reconciliations, analyze financial statements, and assess store performance
• Lead by example, maintain performance standards, and handle hiring, onboarding, and employee records
• Implement and document disciplinary actions, train and motivate staff, and resolve conflicts
• Oversee payroll, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and ensure adherence to safety regulations (Pomp's, OSHA, DOT)
• Manage safety equipment distribution and training programs
• Perform other duties as needed
  

What You Need:

• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass pre-employment driver's file
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• TIA/Bandag certification as appropriate, or willingness to obtain
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience required
• 5 years of experience in tire sales and services preferred
• Strong ability to maintain confidentiality of personal and business information
• Familiarity with MaddenCo software system is a plus
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external customers and co-workers
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly; occasionally lift, push, or move 100 pounds
