Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a Driver Helper in Amarillo, TX. You will accompany a Route Driver to collect used tires from retail locations, manually load tires onto the truck, and perform heavy lifting as required.

Safety, punctuality, and clear communication are essential as you help maintain order and on-time pickups. Requirements include physical stamina, ability to pass a background check and drug screening, and prior driving experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Experience driving in a commercial setting is preferred.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Comfort with safety protocols and physical work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Route Driver in picking up used tires from retail locations.
• Manually load and stack tires onto the truck, ensuring proper organization and safety.
• Perform heavy lifting; tires can weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during loading/unloading.
• Assist with truck inspections and keep loading area clear and safe.
• Communicate effectively with store personnel and Route Driver.
• Follow routes and schedules for tire collection.
• Help maintain a clean, organized work environment, including the truck bed.
• Provide support to Route Driver in navigating to locations.
