Job summary

S&S Tire Huntington Truck Tire and Service is seeking a Tire Road Service Technician for its Truck Tire Team. The role includes mounting, dismounting, and installing tires and wheel assemblies, plus on-call emergency road service.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of automotive repair experience. ASE or related education is a plus; willingness to work in a shop/warehouse and lift tires up to 100 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' automotive repair experience or related role.
• ASE Certification or Technical/Vocational education preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a shop/warehouse environment.

S&S Tire Huntington Truck Tire and Service is a leading provider of products and services to trucking companies and related industries, servicing Huntington, WV, and surrounding markets. We are looking to add a Tire Road Service Technician to our Truck Tire Team.

Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:

• Mount/Dismount/Installation of Tires & Tire/Wheel Assemblies
• Loading/Unloading Tires on and off Trucks
• Tire Repair
• Emergency Road Service

• Competitive wages $17-19.00/hour - depending on experience
• Weekly commission and labor bonus

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an automotive repair technician, master technician, fleet mechanic or in a related role
• ASE Certification or Technical/Vocational education in related field is preferred, but not required
• Willing and able to work in a shop / warehouse environment
• Lift/move tires (up to 100lbs) with or without equipment, frequent bending and lifting
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
• At minimum 23 years old, possess a valid, insurable license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
