Job summary

Goodyear Tampa is hiring for a role in our retread team. You will inspect tires, buff casings, remove debris, repair casings, apply new tread, cure, and inspect finished tires to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills are expected.
• Previous manufacturing or general labor experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess retread viability.
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the casing.
• Apply patch or cement to repair the casing before tread.
• Build the tire by applying new tread.
• Cure the tire to mold the retread application.
• Perform final inspection for safety and quality.
