Tire Production Operator - 1st Shift

Job summary

QPS Employment Group has a production opportunity in Slinger, Wisconsin, offering a 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm at $17.00 per hour. This is a potential for hire position with a local employer.

The role includes unloading tires, mounting tires onto rims, picking and packing, and forklift operations after training. Candidates must read and write English, have good communication, stand or walk during the shift, and be able to lift up to 25 lb continuously and up to 100 lb occasionally.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting production and quality goals.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid forklift or equipment license as needed.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to stand or walk for duration of shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs constantly, up to 100lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Unload tires from trailers manually into bins
• Operate mounting machines to place tires onto rims
• Pick and pack orders/tires from the warehouse
• Safely unload and load trucks
• Stack and unstack cages
• Inflate tires to customer standards
• Complete paperwork and record information accurately
• Use hand and power tools to mount tires onto rims
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks
• Operate a sit-down forklift (once trained and certified)
