Job summary

TITAN FRANCE SAS is seeking a Tire Engineer in Bryan, Ohio, responsible for managing the engineering process and ensuring quality in tire manufacturing. The role includes implementing tire specifications, programming machines, and supporting product prototyping, while maintaining high standards of quality control and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience in manufacturing, especially in the tire or rubber industry. Strong project management and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Tire/rubber/plastics manufacturing experience ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Implement tire specifications and maintain systems.
  • Program and maintain machines.
  • Supervise product prototyping and procurement.
  • Conduct product failure mode analysis.
  • Audit all phases of factory processing.
  • Assist in quality control for products and processes.
  • Provide warranty assistance through data analysis.
  • Maintain and design tools and dies.
  • Verify and certify materials.
  • Contribute to ISO maintenance and standardization.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of product lines.
