Main Street Auto in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a skilled General Tire and Lube Technician to join our fast-paced shop. You will perform tire rotations, installations and repairs with precision, conduct oil changes and fluid checks, and assist with wheel alignments to ensure safe, reliable vehicles.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous tire and lube technician experience is preferred.
• Proficient in tire installation, repair techniques and oil change procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs with precision and efficiency.
• Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify any potential issues or safety concerns.
• Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires to promote even tread wear and vehicle stability.
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
• Assist customers with tire recommendations, answering inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines while working in a shop environment.
