Job summary
Air Comfort, Inc in Morristown, TN seeks an automotive tire technician to provide reliable lubrication and tire services to customers. You will greet customers, assist the sales manager, and perform tire repairs, removals, and installations across various vehicles.
Must be able to lift 65 lbs, work 40 hours per week with potential overtime, and operate tire changers and balancing machines safely in a loud outdoor shop environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in removal and installation of wheels and tires.
- Proficiency with tire changers and balancing machines.
- Ability to lift 65 lbs or more.
- Outdoor work in all weather; loud shop environment.
- 40-hour work week with potential overtime.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and direct them to a sales manager.
- Repair damaged tires on various vehicles.
- Lift and remove wheels with hand tools.
- Locate punctures by water bath inspection.
- Seal punctures using adhesive material and plugs.
- Operate tire changers and balancing machines.
- Reassemble tires and balance wheels.
- Clean shop and maintain tools.
- Rotate tires and assist customer needs.
- Perform general day-to-day operations.
