Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers in Morristown, TN is seeking a General Service Technician to provide quality service and premium vehicle repair in a timely manner in alignment with our mission and values.

You will perform oil changes, tire care, fluid checks and top-offs, system inspections, and frontend lubrication while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and positive customer relations. Weekend availability is preferred to meet shop needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• One year of experience in basic car care is helpful but not required.
• Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to pass a drug screen.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and oil filters in cars and light trucks.
• Provide tire care including installation, repair and rotation.
• Inspect and top off engine fluids.
• Lubricate frontend parts as needed and follow safety standards.
• Perform vehicle inspections following a checklist of potential trouble spots.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and positive customer relationships.
