ENVE Composites in Ogden, Utah, seeks a Design Engineer – Bicycle Tires to lead tire development from concept through production, shaping road, gravel, and mountain bike tires. You’ll own the product development process, craft tread patterns, select compounds, and validate designs with rigorous testing alongside riders and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on product development experience.
• Experience designing tire components, tread patterns, or related high-performance materials.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and interpretation of physical test results.

Responsibilities

• Develop new tread patterns for road, gravel, XC, and enduro applications.
• Specify rubber compounds and casing constructions to meet performance targets.
• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, and engineering specs.
• Design prototype build plans and testing protocols; analyze results for design improvements.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to launch products.
