Job description

Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. You will deliver more of what our members love, for less, by collaborating with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do
  1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools and resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
  2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, equipment operations, TPMS, and product specifications. Use POS systems and sales techniques effectively.
  3. Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools and technology to plan, drive sales, improve service, and make immediate business decisions. Adapt to new tools and encourage others to do the same.
  4. Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies, and inventory. Handle transactions, maintain safety standards, report issues, and assist members with their needs.
  5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote brand values, develop others, and foster a respectful, supportive team environment. Comply with company policies and ethics.
  6. Respect the Individual: Embrace diversity, create an inclusive workplace, and build trusting relationships. Support and develop team members, recognize contributions, and foster a culture of belonging.
