Job description

Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. You will deliver more of what our members love, for less, working collaboratively with other associates to meet member expectations.

What you'll do...

1. Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
2. Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high-shrink items.
3. Maintain the Sales Floor in accordance with company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
4. Receive and stock merchandise, organize and maintain the Tire and Battery Center following company procedures, and complete necessary documentation.
5. Ensure safety by following all safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, handling hazardous materials properly, and reporting unsafe conditions.
6. Operate hardware such as cash registers, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
7. Assist members with automotive services, including tire installation, repairs, balancing, rotating, and battery services, following company guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications...

Valid state-issued driver's license, ability to complete required training and assessments, and be 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications...

Experience in auto service industry or retail is preferred.
