Job description

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do...

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Use POS systems and sales techniques effectively.
3. Be a Techie: Utilize digital tools and handheld technology to plan, drive sales, improve service, and make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, and product information.
4. Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies, and inventory. Operate cash registers, process transactions, and ensure merchandise is properly packaged and stored. Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing member experience, modeling high-quality service, and developing others. Foster a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented environment.

Minimum Qualifications...

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successfully complete all required training and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications...

• Experience in auto service industry or retail experience.
