Position Summary:

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both sales and service areas, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with team members to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do:

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, mentor new technicians, and develop interpersonal skills for excellent customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and POS systems.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan, drive sales, improve service, and make immediate business decisions using handheld technology.
4. Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, supplies needs, monitor returns and special orders, operate cash registers, maintain inventory accuracy, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the brand, model high-quality service, develop others, and foster a respectful team environment.
6. Act with Integrity: Uphold high standards of ethics, support Walmart's culture, and ensure accountability.
7. Serve our Customers and Members: Deliver results with the customer first approach, making decisions based on reliable information.
