Job summary

Walmart's Sam's Club in Easley, SC is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician to deliver safe, efficient service in both the sales and service areas, helping members save money and choose the right products.

You will collaborate with teammates, follow safety standards, operate POS, manage inventory, and assist members with purchases, while using digital tools to enhance the service experience. Competitive pay with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred: Auto service industry experience, retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate other associates on tools, tasks, resources and mentor new technicians; communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality; knowledge of POS systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve service experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld tech to make decisions on services, safety, new product information, and training.
• Be an Owner: Communicates equipment, tools and supplies needs to TBC Lead; tracks returns and special orders; operates cash registers; processes transactions; maintains inventory, audits, safety and compliance; reports complaints and issues; completes paperwork and labeling per procedures.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate, delivering high quality service and products; mentors and inspires teammates to work respectfully and collaboratively.
• Complies with company policies and ethics; follows Open Door Policy and business processes.
• Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers and customers; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress.
