National and Alamo have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician. This role involves performing car and bus service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and buy back/turn back service according to company policies and procedures. It requires routine judgment and initiative, focusing on customer needs and adhering to our Quality Standards.

This position pays $23.75/hour plus a $.60/hour shift differential after 5 pm, requires a valid driver's license, and is located at 1650 Old Bayshore Hwy, Burlingame, CA, 94010.

Schedule: 2 PM to 10:30 PM, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance inspections, including tires, brakes, and fluid levels.
• Conduct preventive maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations per manufacturer specifications.
• Ensure vehicles are safe and reliable after repairs and maintenance.
• Repair and replace tires.
• Replace wearable parts like bulbs and wipers.
• Maintain accurate repair history documentation.
• Follow part and inventory tracking procedures.
• Potentially process new fleet, fuel reclamation, or buy-backs.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Perform other related duties as required.
