Job summary

Northland Automotive is a family‑owned, full service auto repair, tire and auto glass shop in Michigan seeking a Tire and Lube Technician with at least three years of experience. You will perform oil changes, inspect fluids, replace filters, inspect tires, and help keep the shop organized and safe.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers.
• Proven work experience as a Tire Technician, Lube Technician or similar role, for minimum of 3 years
• Some professional experience removing and installing tires preferred
• Team player to work with other team members
• Attention to detail to install tires properly and provide oil changes
• MI state certifications required

Responsibilities

• Perform engine oil and oil filter changes
• Inspect and top off automotive fluids
• Replace air/cabin filters and windshield wipers
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the shop floor
• Maintain the store organization and cleanliness
• Provide service inspections on all vehicles
• Inspect tires on vehicles before and after installation
• Perform tire rotations, balancing and other maintenance tasks
• Follow all safety protocols while working in the shop
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
• Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate to solve customer concerns
