Job summary

Green Apple Catering & Events in New York City is hiring Event Bartenders who bring speed, skill, and professionalism to every setup, from signature cocktail stations to full open bars at prestigious events. As an Event Bartender, you’ll work at top venues across NYC, maintain fast, polished service, and coordinate with the Event Captain to ensure flawless guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of bartending experience, preferably in catering or event settings.
• TIPS certification (or willingness to obtain before first shift)
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine varietals, and current beverage trends
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-volume environments
• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages per event specifications
• Set up and break down portable bar stations at event venues across NYC
• Work closely with the Event Captain to coordinate service timing and flow
• Maintain a clean, organized bar throughout the event
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices at all times
• Engage professionally with guests, answering questions about menu offerings
