Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Tipping Floor Operator to support tipping floor, monofill and ash management operations with a strong emphasis on safety. The role focuses on efficient material handling and adherence to environmental and safety protocols.

You will monitor refuse trucks, assist crane operators, keep the tipping floor clear, load metal trucks when needed, and operate heavy equipment while reporting any hazards to supervision promptly.

Qualifications

• Six months experience operating mobile equipment.
• Mechanical abilities sufficient to perform equipment maintenance, minor repairs and general preventative maintenance.

Job description

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Tipping Floor Operator who can perform duties relevant to all phases of Tipping Floor, Monofill and Ash Management Building operations (where applicable).

Education/Experience

• Operate fire extinguishing equipment ranging from handheld extinguishers to 200 lb portable units
• Access confined spaces and pressure vessels through standard 12\" by 16\" manways

Work in areas under adverse conditions that may require the donning and use of personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, the following with average fatigue:

• Negative pressure respirator

• Self-contained breathing apparatus (steel or composite bottle)
