Join our team at Dockside Bar & Grill at Tappan Lake!

Position: Tipped Server

The Dockside Bar & Grill Tipped Server is the face of Buehler’s as they interact directly with our customers. The primary responsibility is to ensure our customers have an exceptional dining experience. The Tipped Server works closely with the Food Service team to deliver meals promptly. Our goal is to become the Best in Food Service, starting with every meal.

Typical duties include:

1. Seating customers promptly
2. Greeting customers warmly and taking drink orders
3. Assisting with order selection and anticipating additional needs
4. Ensuring accurate billing
5. Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely and correct orders
6. Cleaning tables and assisting with table bussing
7. Mentoring and training new staff
8. Maintaining a spotless dining area
9. Following safety and sanitation procedures
10. Proper food handling and storage
11. Performing other duties as needed to support store operations

Legal requirements:

• Minimum age varies: 16-18 (no alcohol service), 19 (to serve beer/wine), 21 (to serve alcohol)
• Ability to stand, lift (up to 80#), reach, bend, and follow instructions
• Comfort working in a kitchen environment with heat, steam, and noise

Preferred but not required: Previous experience as a Tipped Server or in food service. We are happy to train new team members!
