Job summary

The Post Oak is seeking a Bartender to deliver exceptional guest experiences with friendly, timely, and professional service. You will interpret guest needs, prepare beverages to spec, and maintain bar operations to support a smooth shift.

Requirements include at least 1 year of bartending and 1 year of food serving experience, strong communication, and flexible availability across shifts. This tipped position offers benefits and growth opportunities in a dynamic hotel/bar setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of bartending experience
• 1 year of food serving experience preferred
• Record of delivering exceptional guest experience
• Effective communication skills
• Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be available for various shifts including early morning, late nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours
• Team Player with a guest first attitude
• Minimum age of 21 years old

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees
• Discover guest needs and suggests beverages to enhance their experience and meet sales goals
• Take food orders for sit down and to-go orders.
• Be the master of the bar, understanding all aspects to promote a well-run shift by proper preparation
• Maintain par levels of all stock and supplies, garnishes, beer, wine, liquor, barware, etc.
• Responsible for keeping an accurate count of all money and comps received for guests and follow cash handling policies
