Job summary

Allied Reliability is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to develop and execute projects for titanium dioxide pigment and related materials. You will support safety, environmental, quality, cost, efficiency, and production goals while coordinating with R&D, operations, and SHEQ teams.

The role involves analyzing processes, conducting trials, and preparing project documentation to secure approvals across FEL stages, while maintaining safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • Experience in TiO2 pigment plant or Chlor-alkali plant preferred.
  • Experience leading capital projects from idea creation through implementation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support plant in meeting safety, environmental, quality, cost, efficiency, and production goals.
  • ,
  • Lead and support process improvement projects from idea origination to implementation.
  • Use engineering background to evaluate/design new systems.
  • Coordinate with contractors, service providers, and equipment manufacturers to develop projects.
  • Write Scope of Work (SOW) for external collaborations.
  • Write Project Management Plan (PMP) for new projects.
  • Present projects to obtain approvals at FEL stages.
  • Update SOPs and specifications for process changes.
  • Promote a work-safe attitude and uphold company core values.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Chemical Engineering preferred
Experience with capital projects from idea to implementation
PSM knowledge
PHA knowledge
MOC knowledge
Verbal and written communication skills
Driver’s license
