Job summary

Qualifications

• Playing experience in soccer is preferred but not required.

Job description

Position available: Soccer coach for children ages 2-6, to begin working October 2017.

What is TinyTykes? TinyTykes is a FUNdamental introduction to the game of soccer for players aged 2-6. Players learn the introductory skills of soccer through fun games and stories in weekly classes lasting 45 mins each. Our curriculum, designed by soccer and child development professionals, introduces young soccer stars to basic skills and helps develop motor, social, and psychological skills.

Information:

• Classes run Monday through Saturday, lasting 45-60 minutes each. Coaches are provided with uniforms, equipment, training, and a curriculum.
• TinyTykes offers flexible part-time hours in a rewarding environment, with classes at preschools and sports complexes in 6-8 week blocks.

Compensation: $16-22 per hour, based on experience.

Location: Positions across La Mesa and surrounding areas.

Requirements:

• In-date Criminal Background Checks.
• Up-to-date vaccinations.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Experience working with children aged 2-6.
• Personable, energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable personality.
• Playing experience in soccer is preferred but not required.
• Own transportation is required.
