Job summary

Transforming Age is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for The Timbers in Apple Valley, Minnesota. This full-time role involves cleaning resident spaces and shared areas, assisting with laundry, and maintaining equipment to ensure a warm, welcoming environment for our residents.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma or GED preferred, and a positive, service-oriented attitude. CPR/First Aid may be required, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age at start date.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a senior living or hospitality setting not required but highly desired.
• Upbeat, can-do attitude with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for customer service and resident experience.
• CPR and First Aid training may be required by state/local guidelines.
• Background check and pre-employment screenings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide fantastic customer service for residents and shared spaces.

This is a full time role, paying $17.00 to $19.00 depending on experience.

Our Housekeepers:

• Ensure we provide fantastic customer service and care for our resident accommodations and shared spaces
• Assist with laundry services occasionally as needed.
• Keep housekeeping carts and closets neat, organized, and filled
• Keep equipment maintained, up
• Provide excellent Customer Service to our residents
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  

What you need to succeed:

• Must be 18 years of age at time of start.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Previous experience in a senior living community or hospitality setting is not required, but is highly desired!
• An upbeat, fun, outgoing personality and can-do attitude
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have a passion for customer service and providing the best experience for our residents!
• CPR and First Aid training may be required per state/local guidelines.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen, may be required to complete other pre-employment screenings such as physical, fingerprint, and TB test as required by state/local guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• May occasionally need to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.
