Position Overview: This role is part of the Timberland PRO team, supporting professional tradespeople worldwide. The Market Development Representative (MDR) will represent Timberland PRO to key retailers and prospects, developing long-term relationships, and ensuring proper product placement and visual standards. The MDR will work closely with the Senior Account Executive, focusing on account visits, market understanding, and supporting marketing and sales initiatives. This is a remote position, ideally based in the Chicago, IL metro area or the Midwest, with easy airport access.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Senior AE in managing key accounts and sales activities.
  • Handle new product templates, technical clinics, merchandising, and promotions for key accounts.
  • Maintain accurate activity reports and participate in regional/national trade shows.
  • Travel estimated at 60%+.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience (retail, outside, or phone).
  • Knowledge of footwear, apparel, or related categories is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Strong communication, organization, and motivation skills.
