Job summary

The Tile Shop is seeking a Shipping MH1 material handler to move, pick, pack, palletize and ship tile products. Must frequently lift 50 lbs and occasionally over 100 lbs; operate RF devices and forklifts; maintain safe, organized work areas and follow schedules.

Responsibilities include inventory control, safety adherence, and supporting various departments as needed. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Forklift, reach truck, and order picker certification or willing to be certified.
• Basic organizational, mathematical, and computer skills.
• Ability to manually move and lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work at varying heights and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Use RF device or desktop to perform bar code functions (pull, put away, ship confirm, inventory lookup).
• Select correct pick ticket to determine items to be picked, packed, palletized or shipped.
• Convey pallets, boxes to staging areas, build areas, pallets or crates.
• Manually lift/move boxes onto/off pallets and into crates.
• Ensure inventory accuracy during picking, packing and shipping.
• Operate equipment including sit-down forklift, order picker, wrapping machine, pallet jack.
• Maintain equipment in good working order and ensure labels are clear and accurate.
• Adhere to safety policies and attend scheduled shifts, including long hours when needed.
