Job summary

Dal-Tile, the largest tile and natural stone manufacturer in the United States, is seeking a Sorter to inspect and sort finished tile in a fast-paced production setting.

You will inspect tile for shade and defects, discard bad pieces, monitor equipment, and follow SOPs while keeping the work area safe and organized. High school diploma and manufacturing experience preferred; good communication skills required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing/production experience.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

• Inspects tile for shade and visual defects.
• Discards defective tile into trash hoppers.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
