Job summary

Surface Experts is seeking a field technician to tackle tile-related repairs and installations. The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, customer service, and working with a variety of clients in different settings. Training and a branded company vehicle support daily field work.

Experience with tile installation in showers, backsplashes, and high-traffic areas is a strong plus. A team-oriented, detail-focused mindset will help you succeed in our growing local team.

Qualifications

Experience as a tile setter.
Installation across showers, backsplashes, high-traffic areas is a plus.
Willingness to learn a new skill that may take months to master.
Ability to identify, match and reproduce colors.

Responsibilities

On the jobsite for 4+ customers per day.
On-site work orders, customer service, and follow-ups.
Work with a variety of customers across industries.
Track work progress and notes in our CRM/Dispatch tool.
Communicate with support team with questions.
Understand and follow our 5-step repair process.
Utilize your tool-kit to repair problems.
