Job summary

Elit Builders is seeking a highly skilled Tile Installer to join our residential construction crew. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in ceramic, porcelain, and stone tile, and can read blueprints, lay out patterns, and install showers, backsplashes, and floors with precision.

You will work on a variety of remodels and new builds, maintaining high workmanship and safety, while assisting with other trades as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional tile installation experience.
• Experience with residential remodeling and new construction.
• Knowledge of waterproofing systems and thinset applications.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Must have own tile tools and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, glass, and large-format tile on floors, walls, showers, backsplashes, patios, and other surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by leveling, waterproofing, and installing underlayments and membranes.
• Measure, cut, and install tile with precise layout and alignment.
• Perform grout installation, caulking, sealing, and finishing.
• Install shower systems, niches, curbs, waterproofing systems per specs.
• Read blueprints and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with additional construction tasks as needed.
