Job summary

Ritsema Associates seeks a skilled Tile Flooring Installer to support high‑quality commercial flooring projects. You will install ceramic, porcelain, stone, mosaic, and specialty tiles, prep surfaces, and ensure precise layout and durability on diverse sites.

Responsibilities include patching, leveling, waterproofing, grout work, and accurate cuts, while maintaining a safe, productive jobsite and working with the Foreman to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with flooring tools, materials, and installation techniques.
• Experience with tile cutting, setting, grouting, and finishing.
• Basic knowledge of substrate leveling, waterproofing, and surface preparation.
• Strong math skills and ability to read measurements accurately.

Responsibilities

• Install ceramic, porcelain, stone, mosaic, and specialty tile systems.
• Prepare surfaces with patching, leveling, waterproofing, crack isolation, and underlayment.
• Mix and apply thinset, grout, mortar beds, and adhesives.
• Ensure layout accuracy and long-term durability per company standards.
• Follow safety protocols and complete tasks with attention to quality and efficiency.
