Ritsema Associates in Grandville, MI, seeks a skilled Flooring Installer to support commercial projects. You will install tile, wood, carpet, and specialty flooring, prepare surfaces, and ensure durable, accurate results on time and to company standards.

You will work under a Foreman, maintain safety, coordinate with field leaders, and demonstrate professionalism while delivering high quality craftsmanship across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Experience installing flooring types (tile, wood, carpet, specialty materials).
• Ability to read measurements accurately and perform precise leveling/surface prep.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Safely operate flooring tools and maintain worksite safety.

Responsabilités

• Install various types of flooring including tile, wood, carpet, and specialty materials.
• Perform floor preparation tasks such as leveling, sanding, and surface repair.
• Ensure all installations meet company standards for quality, accuracy, and durability.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring correctness and cost‑effective execution.
• Arrive on time and ready to work at assigned job sites.
• Follow instructions and communicate clearly with field leaders.
• Cooperate with team members and assist with additional tasks as needed.
• Represent the company in a professional, ethical, and courteous manner.
• Maintain a productive workflow with minimal downtime.
• Inspect completed work and report any issues to the Foreman or Superintendent.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest solutions.
• Adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and jobsite conditions.
• Follow all jobsite safety protocols and company safety standards.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support project success
