Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC is seeking a manufacturing team member for the Additional Finishes department. This role involves ensuring safety protocols, following product specifications, and supporting maintenance and quality initiatives in a fast-paced plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all safety protocols throughout the plant are adhered to
• Maintains a safe and healthy working environment for the Additional Finishes department
• Follows the ISO 9001 Quality Management System for finishing operations
• Performs lock/tag/test audits and assists in weekly safety training materials
• Ensures product specifications are followed throughout the Additional Finishes department
• Reviews PM, lubrication practices (grease, oil and chemicals) for finishing equipment
• Assists the supervisor in coordinating the operations of the Additional Finishes department
• Responsible for training of all new hires on safety, quality policy and management systems
• Works with maintenance to develop and sustain operator basic care programs
• Fill-in and relief responsibility for all Additional Finishes job functions
• Operates loader and unloader machines, changes setup, and completes basic maintenance tasks
• Assists in water treatment duties and application of chemical products
• Completed other tasks as needed
