The TikTok Shop team\'s mission is to create a world class e-commerce experience that helps TikTok users find and discover amazing new products and goods. We\'re looking for a Content Design Manager to lead a team of international content designers that cover multiple areas of the e-commerce business. We\'re seeking a manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can collaborate across time zones, advocates for the CD discipline, and combines leadership with strong content design skills. While this is a management role, a core expectation is a deep understanding of CD workflows and supporting key areas of the business by delivering projects.

• Deliver high-quality content in a fast-paced, cross-cultural work environment
• Ensure UX/UI meets content and design standards and champion best practices
• Define practical solutions and processes for large-scale problems
• Develop strong product narratives in partnership with stakeholders
• Lead a team of 6+ content designers of various levels
• Facilitate projects, align on priorities, allocate resources, and strengthen collaboration with global XFN
• Establish and maintain a positive team culture and strengthen the CD team\'s skills
• Provide actionable feedback, drive consistency, and improve content quality and team efficiency

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in content design, UX writing, content strategy, copywriting, UX, or equivalent fields
• 2+ years experience in managing, mentoring, coaching, and developing a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead a team while also delivering individual projects
• Experience collaborating with Product Management, Design, Legal, Engineering, and Localization teams
• Self-starter who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and stay focused when faced with changing requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• E-commerce experience
• Experience working on a global product with international partners in different time zones
• Strong interest in social app products, user and influencer behavior, and associated trends

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $151050 - $273600 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
