Job summary

Monroechamber is seeking an experienced TIG Welder for a 1st shift in Milwaukee, WI. Responsibilities include TIG, MIG, and Stick welding on diverse metals, inspecting welds, and ensuring adherence to WPS/PQR and production standards. High attention to quality and safety is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year welding experience or formal training/certification.
• Experience with TIG welding and reading welding specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG, MIG, and Stick welding on a variety of metals and components.
• Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment per job specs.
• Weld and repair castings and manufactured parts.
• Read blueprints and follow WPS/PQR documentation.
• Inspect welds and ensure quality standards.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and accurate production records.
• Collaborate with engineering on procedures and QCs.
