Job summary

Skillforce is seeking skilled TIG Welders for long-term industrial projects in Memphis, TN and surrounding areas. Welders will perform TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel pipe systems up to 24 inches and must pass a 6G welding test.

Candidates should have proven TIG welding experience and the ability to travel to jobsites; travel pay is offered for locations more than 60 miles from Memphis, TN.

Qualifications

• Proven TIG welding experience.
• Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipes.
• Ability to pass a 6G weld test.
• Reliable transportation and attendance.
• Willingness to travel to Memphis-area jobsites (travel pay offered >60 miles).

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel piping.
• Weld pipe systems up to 24 inches.
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Inspect welds for quality and adherence to standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow OSHA procedures.

Location: Memphis, TN and surrounding areas
Pay:$30-$34/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:30am to 4:30pm
Project Duration: Long-term

Skillforce is s eeking skilled TIG Welders for long-term industrial projects in Memphis, TN, and surrounding areas . Welders will primarily perform TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel pipe systems up to 24 inches. Candidates should have proven TIG welding experience, experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipe, and the ability to weld pipe systems up to 24 inches. All candidates are required to successfully pass a 6G welding test .

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems
• Weld pipe systems up to 24”
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance with project standards
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Follow OSHA and site-specific safety procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a TIG welder in industrial environments
• Experience with TIG welding processes
• Ability to pass a 6G weld test
• Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel pipe
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Strong attention to detail and weld quality
• Ability to travel to jobsites in Memphis and surrounding areas. Travel pay offered if jobsite is more than 60 miles away from Memphis, TN.
