Job summary

MKS Instruments in Westminster, CO seeks a Welder 2 to join the Welding department and partner with Engineering and Quality Control. You will report to the Welding Supervisor and fabricate/customize products to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include planning and performing welding on stainless-steel valves, gauges, and other components, collaborating on design for production, and ensuring accurate fabrication from blueprints and notes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related welding experience.
• Requires TIG welding, with ability to read complex drawings and specs.
• Experience fabricating stainless-steel valves, gauges, and components.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom products and modify items per specs.
• Plan, lay out, and weld to blueprints and instructions.
• Collaborate with engineers on design for production.
• Complete fabrication and assembly welding per requirements.
• Modify valves/components per application and engineering specs.
