We are seeking TIG Welders for a direct hire opportunity in Hebron, KY. with a growing and innovative metal fabrication company.This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance and more!Pay: $25-35/h (depending on experience) OR let us know what you desireShift: Second (there is shift differential of 10% in pay)Aerospace TIG Welding experience is a plus, but not requiredResponsibilities for TIG Welder:- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Source, measure, and cut materials to specified dimensions
- Perform TIG welding operations using appropriate materials and techniques
- Inspect completed welds and parts to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances
- Pass required welding certification tests
- Use conventional and precision measuring instruments
- Perform in-process inspections and complete associated documentation
- Maintain and perform routine maintenance on welding and grinding equipment
- Grind and finish products using manual and power grinding tools
Qualifications for TIG Welder:- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of Vocational or Trade School Welding Program
- Strong practical and technical knowledge of TIG welding in aerospace applications
- Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficiency in basic math and mechanical principles
- Skilled in the use of measuring tools and instruments with high precision
- Capable of unit conversions (metric/imperial)
