Qualifications

The Welder/Fitter will be able to perform ASME quality in one or more of the following disciplines: Stick (SMAW), Flux Core (FCAW), and/or Tig (GTAW). The position will also be responsible for reading and interpreting P&ID's and blueprints in order to join, fit, fabricate and assemble tanks and/or heaters to project specifications. Our Welders earn a starting salary of $22.00-$29.00 per hour, depending on experience and Weld Test Results. There is a $1.00 shift differential for Evening Shift (2nd shift). Our Evening Shift (2nd shift) hours are Monday-Friday 3:30pm with an end time between 12:00am and 2:00am.


What You'll Do:

  1. Cut and prepare surfaces or components
  2. Lay out, position, fit, tack, weld, and finish a variety of parts or products following established methods and specifications
  3. Handle and position heavy components using an overhead crane, clamps, jigs, and fixtures
  4. Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions
  5. Other job duties as assigned

What We Need from You:

  • Must have eight (8) years' experience in TIG welding capacity.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Forklift, overhead crane, and rigging experience required
  • Must pass weld test
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret detailed drawings
