Job summary

Aether Aerospace is hiring a full-time TIG Welder in Hollywood, MD, with night shift 2pm-1am Mon-Thur (4-10s). The candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance and have foundational knowledge of welding applications. Responsibilities include interpreting plans, welding to spec, and creating production fixturing.

Candidate should hold a High School Diploma or GED and have 1+ year of commercial/aerospace welding experience; AWS D17.1 certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED with 1+ year experience in commercial/aerospace welding.
• Current or valid AWS D17.1 certification (aluminum, carbon steel, or stainless) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform different weld methods based on project requirements.
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other instructions.
• Create fixturing for production welding environments.
