Job summary

Mott Corporation, an IDEX Corporation business, is seeking a skilled TIG Welder for our Farmington, CT facility operating 11pm–7am. You will weld according to detailed specs, prepare components, and maintain cleanliness in a clean-room environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 1–3 years TIG welding experience, ability to read drawings, and adherence to QMS and safety procedures. Starting pay is $25.00 per hour, with a 15% differential and benefits including health, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience with TIG welding.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, prints, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations to detailed specifications and engineering requirements.
• Properly clean and prepare components prior to welding.
• Maintain qualification to Mott MES welding specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and standards within a clean-room work environment.
• Adhere to all Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and safety requirements.
• Weld solid and porous metal products in accordance with specifications.
