Job summary

Accelevation LLC in Miamisburg, OH is seeking a TIG Welder for 2nd shift to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures. You will read blueprints, set up parts, and weld with precision using various techniques.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or 3–6 months related experience.
• 6 months+ welding and fabrication experience; cutting, welding/brazing, drilling, marking/engraving; welding dissimilar metals a plus.
• Proficient in welding safety, weld filler selection, processing parameters, fixturing.
• Familiarity with metallurgy, weld joint analysis, backing gas applications.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.
• Self-motivated and able to lead projects with minimal oversight.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks; onsite role.

Responsibilities

• Plans details of work order procedures and gathers required tools and materials.
• Repairs and fabricates items using cutting, burning, and welding techniques.
• Monitors welding, burning, and fitting to prevent warping or distortion.
• Prepares, assembles, and tack welds parts and surfaces to be welded.
• Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.
• Notifies Team Leader of faulty equipment or materials.
• Performs other duties including machine operation.
• Performs quality control and documents processes.
• Performs prep work and grinding.
